A lot of glass objects are organic and smoothly flowing. But 3D printing creates new opportunities, and I wanted to make some designs that showed the potential of the material to be edgy, crystalline, and eye-catching. "Ice", a design in 3 styles, is the result of that. Based on a three dimensional tessellation inspired by the crystalline structure of ice, these objects are all near the maximum size of glass sculpture printable, yet still reasonably affordable as desk art or one-of-a-kind gifts. The summit style symbolizes value and achievement, and is available in a variety of other materials in addition to glass.
