About this Product

A gyroid of 8 unit cells, a triply periodic minimal surface (this is a trigonometric approximation to the true minimal surface). This surface appears in nature, frequently in oil/water surfaces where the oil separates the water into two domains, at the microscopic level. In cells, it appears in the endoplasmic reticulum. With walls at .7 mm, it prints in most plastics.
