oops, meant to say a version 1 and 1/2 times the current size would be perfect imo.

Got one in brass and many numbers are illegible. Looks like the transparent detail turned out better. Wish a version 1 1/2 scale was available.

OK, finally got a print of this, in transparent detail at the 2cm size, and I actually quite like it. I think this one may be a keeper as-is. Pics to follow.

I know I've been warned from purchasing before the test is made, but being a guinea pig is exciting. I'll let you know how they turn out when I get them.

My bad. Almost all the dice with inlaid #'s look different in the 3D view than they actually are.

Interesting. The 3D view looks completely different than the picture. Is this hollowed out version the final one? I like both this shape and the original one. I enjoy watching this thing unfold. Hope you don't mind the running commentary. I've been looking for dice like this for a long time.

Some of these shapes would be amazing: http://dicemaniacsclub.multiply.com/journal I'd definitely get some.

Please let me know if I can help ... Although I do not do my own designs with Shapeways (no time) I have a lot of shapeways dice ...http://www.dicecollector.com/THE_DICE_THEME_SHAPEWAYS.html

It's twice as big (and thus about eight times as expensive) as I intended it at this point, and I'm still not sure the numbers will show up (they may be too fine a detail). Steel's minimum detail size is even bigger. I just got here to Shapeways; when I get my first order or two and see what things are like I'll know more about how things work. (I also collect dice, with much more modest ambitions than you, so I'm planning on doing some simple dice designs here).

Would it be possible for you to make this hollow ... so a stainless steel copy will not cost $157.90 USD?
