the part in the middle to the picture is the base-plate that will be directly mountet with screws through the holes in the microswitches of the joystick. the cylindrical part has to be losely centered on the base plate and contains the variable restrictor that will be turned by the servo. The last part will be screwed on the top of it and has a rectangular space that can hold a Modelcraft RS-3 servo.

the parts will hold a servo motor that can be attached to the bottom of a joystick. The servo will rotate a variable restrictor plate that, depending on the angle of rotation, either restrict the joystick to 4 directions or allow to 8 directions. This is most usefull for building arcade cabinets for different games (e.g. based on MAME emulator).
