This is a small food safe ceramic shot glass that holds .6 ounces (± 0.1oz). Inspired by my love for the expression and form of our hands and the human body. Also, I wanted to have some fun! The fingers are solid and the reservoir travels down the wrist organically, ending behind the knuckles. Enjoy!

@kspence Hi kspence, thanks! I started out with a reference scan of my own hand in a neutral pose. I rebuilt that using polygonal modeling, posed it with bones, then went back for more polygonal modeling for finishing touches all in Maya.

@SavIsSavvy Hi Savannah, I have updated my inventory with two more sizes. My shot glass is now available in .6oz, 1oz, and 1.5oz sizes. They all look exactly the same other than their size differences :D

If anyone is using Maya 2014, I have figured out the hard way that there is a bug with the .stl export. Deleting history and freezing transformations on my model did not preserve the scaling of parts, as this was my goal to achieve specific volume capacities of my shot glass. I had to combine meshes as one node and separate them again before exporting.

@SavIsSavvy Looks like I calculated this incorrectly, so the glaze only subtracted about .16 oz from the overall capacity of the shot glass. I am fixing this now and will add it to my inventory :)

@SavIsSavvy Hi Savannah, I have updated my model info with actual photos and video. It turned out great! Although, the capacity is much less than I expected probably due to the ceramic coating. A .6 oz shot glass might not be very popular, so I will resolve this with an update in the coming weeks to achieve 1.5 oz.

@SavIsSavvy I certainly will, thanks again!

It goes through a vendor of ours, so I"m not sure I'll get my paws on it personally, do you mind tagging me again here when you upload the photo? Looks like you're in production and should be done soon :)!

@SavIsSavvy Hi Savannah, that would be wonderful, thank you! I have not received it yet but will take photos as soon as I do. To speed things up for Halloween, Shapeways is more than welcome to take their own photographs as soon as it comes out of the printer. This would be order #305455.
