A bacteriophage T4 virus that was modeled in blender. This model is designed to reduce the cost of the plastic by 50% while still keeping its strength. I also enlarged the model from the last print, shown in the photo, so it can be printed in more materials. This model needed an escape hole for the power to come out from, so i added a small hole in the bottom of the head. It will be so small that it won't be noticeable. I want to thank everyone who bought my models! Thanks to all of you I've been able to buy upgrades and replacement parts for my plastic extuder. I've been recycling different types of plastics to find out if I can use the recycled filament for 3D printing.

I've got another model that can be printed in brass polished, but I want to make sure that it is printable with shapeways. That will take 1-2 days from now. Sorry for the wait.

What kind of materials can you do this model? I ordered Polished Strong & Flexible Plastic and my order was cancelled. I really wanna a bacteriophage model.
