@Npmorris98 Ah it's a good idea the plush but 8 inches it's very big, the shapeways 3D printer take it, I can try to do it if you want but i really don't know what will be the price.

@Manukeru It's part of a gift idea for a friend - I've got to fit a plush inside it, and your design is the only one I've found so far that opens. Completely understandable about the price, though. Thanks for the reply!

@Npmorris98 No I can't, it will cost too much and probably be not printable in 6 or 8 inches by shapeways. But can I know why do you want a really big one like this? Maybe in an other materials it will work.

I think it's better to smooth the different part to paint it. For the type of paint, Shapeways speak about that in their help: https://www.shapeways.com/tutorials/painting3dprintedsls
