Don’t let unruly wires get between you and your music. Pod à porter is the easiest way to wear your music, and it’s now available for the iPod shuffle 4th generation.

Manufactured from tough but flexible, 3D-printed polyamide, Pod à porter is ultralight and has a finely textured surface finish; each ordered product is manufactured just for you. It fits the iPod shuffle 4th generation and its earbuds, leaving all controls accessible.

Available in black, and limited edition colors shown below; check the support/materials section of this website for more information. Pod à porter is great for walking, strolling, commuting and many other activities, but it has not been specifically designed or tested for use during work-outs or sports, so it may not be suitable for your particular type of exercise. Product is shipped in basic Shapeways packaging. Assembly is easy: just run the headphone wire through the product, and attach the Ipod shuffle. Have a look here for some images.

@gaellesalini - sorry, no version for the nano in the pipeline, see below.

Very smart idea as I can't stand the headphones' cable, never know how to put it. Does it exist for the IPod nano 6th generation? Because I'm not convinced with the curve wrist band for the nano because of the cable hanging from the arm to wherever I place the nano. Thanks

Makes me want to buy a shuffle, just so I can wear it with this accessory. Well done!

Thanks so much Gregg, and you're right, the nano could look nice, but I was always worried about using the touchscreen in this position. Or does the nano have controls in the headphone cord?

I find this style iPOD too small, but this !!GREAT!! product could sway me ...you should make one for the new square iPOD nano, then the pic showing would also serve as art for the necklace as well. Genius. Loving your designs over all. Nicly done product pics also. Bookmarked.
