Antichron

My copy of the Antichron arrived a couple of days ago.

The Antichron works excellently well in the WSF material. Having it in hand to turn and play with, it seems there are many views that yield only a crazy asymmetry that gives no hint of any order in the piece, then another slight turn and there's an unexpected symmetry jumping out at you. It has lots of nice smooth places for fingers to grasp it. The matte finish of the WSF material adds to the sense of it not quite existing in our space (as if reflections go off into some other space and are lost to ours). As is typical with Bathsheba's pieces, it works not only as a piece of visual art but of tactile art as well.
