If you were wondering, it has two sides and therefore is not a Mobius strip.

Since this design looks best standing up, it has a mounting post that is 5/32" diameter. I would recommend a block of wood or blob of polymer clay as a base.

Flow arrived in Ottawa! This sculpture is marvellous! The eye follows the ribbon in a dizzying swirl - it would be an awesome rollercoaster.

The material does the piece justice, being (in the WSF) stiff enough not to wobble as Flow is moved about but with some springiness to give a nice sense of airiness. I think the shapeways process passes this test with flying colours.

Blast! I accidentally rated this one 3 stars! I meant to give it 5 stars. Very annoying as I just bought it, so obviously I think it is wonderful. I can't look at this piece without my mind's eye chasing along the ribbons in a dizzying swoop. Marvellous feeling of motion. Mike
