Hello. Why can't you use it this way? Yes, it is traditional that the opposite faces on a die add up to the number of sides +1, but for this die I swapped some faces due to the way the numbers were crowding on the faces in the traditional configuration. In this case, I chose aesthetics over tradition. This does not affect the probability of one number coming up more often than another. My standard and Thorn sets use a standard pattern on the d20 where opposite sides add to 21. The Cage set uses a pattern based on where they look best on the die. The Overstuffed, Spore, and Cage d20s use a distribution from a commercial d20 produced in the 90s where the opposite sides do not add to 21 either.

Great dices, got them in stainless steel - not to heavy, nice to roll but the sum of the numbers on opposite faces is not 21 on the d20! Can't use it this way :(
