This box is designed to house Version 1 of the Alexmos brushless gimbal controller board and allow access to all pins. Incorporated into the design is mounting with reinforcement to allow through bolting to the roll motor with a standard 16 x 19 mm pattern. Slots are provided that allows indexing at 90 degree intervals. Also included is the cover that is secured by 3mm machine screws (nylon recommended). This holds the board in place while protecting the back side. M3 x .05 tap required to put machine screw threads into box. Only compatible with boards that are identical to or available here or here .----------------- New version uploaded 18-SEP-2013 has blind fastener holes now changed to through holes for ease of tapping. Also text labeling has been added for pinouts of roll and pitch motors as well as external controls of roll and pitch.

@powerjosl I see what has happened. That page now has the Version 2 Alexmos Controller Board. I have just within the past few weeks released a housing for V2. It is here

@dz1sfb I think something must have changed with the controllers in the meantime. the second controller that I ordered is exactly the same as the one you linked to in your first link from flyduino. if you compare both links you can see that only the second link has the same layout as your 3d print. maybe remove that first link just to be sure.

@powerjosl - I am sorry that you made a purchase that did not work for you. I have taken time to specify what boards this product fits. Specifically have a URL in the description. You are right, there are too many boards to make a product for each one. That is why I have chosen to only support those boards coming from Flyduino and Viacopter. Best wishes, Ken :)

I have two different alexmos controller and none fit into the 3d print I got from here. One is to big for the big, the other one fits, but none of the holes line up with the connectors of the board. I think there are so many different alexmos boards out there, it's almost impossible to make a 3d print that works with all of them.
