A continuation of a collection I began my senior year studying metals at the University of Kansas. "Unnatural Growth" is a series that began with silicone molds of actual crystal clusters and druzy quartz, polyurethane casts utilizing a variety of colors/opacities/layering techniques in combination with bench jewelry forging and stone setting techniques. The second part of the collection, current, shifted synthetic crystals to digital, via 3d design using the programs MATRIX and Rhino, then printing through Shapeways. These earrings feature a crystal-point druzy field cut in heart shapes. If you order here and not on www.lexadazy.com there will be no earring posts attached - you will need to DIY epoxy some posts on! if you wish to purchase with pre-epoxied posts, please check out at my website.
