A continuation of a collection I began my senior year studying metals at the University of Kansas. "Unnatural Growth" is a series that began with silicone molds of actual crystal clusters and druzy quartz, polyurethane casts utilizing a variety of colors/opacities/layering techniques in combination with bench jewelry forging and stone setting techniques. The second part of the collection, current, shifted synthetic crystals to digital, via 3d design using the programs MATRIX and Rhino, then printing through Shapeways. This item is available for sale in multiple different Shapeways materials! This ring is a classic staple, with crystal points rotated around a simple and comfortable ring band. This particular ring is a size 8 but if you need another size, feel free to send me a message!
