The sight of him alone is enough to tell you who he is. He's the 1st and the ORIGINAL AstroMech in the universe. He even predates that little blue and white astromech in that galaxy far, far away He's been made down to 1/87 scale. Just imagine having this guy on your HO scale train layout. People will figure you must know someone real important to get a visit from this guy. Your layout's news media will be all over him. Because he rarely goes out in public anymore. He's that big of a movie star.~~~~~~~~ Which because he passes the tests for FUD material. Makes him the absolute world's smallest scale he's ever been created in. His dome has been left off, so that you can paint the details in his head. And in hopes of polishing the dome enough to maybe see those painted details, if just barely. This famous does print ONLY in FUD material. Our test prints have been completed. This guy is now open for sale. Remember, FUD material ONLY. He actually scales out to be 7 foot tall. Which means he's just a few inches shorter than planned. Had to wait for the domes to figure it out.

Ok folks, ShapeWays has informed us of what the problem was, and that it is being fixed. The problem was a computer glitch that ignored the dome for some reason. Now we did another version of this model, with the dome attached to a post on the top of his head. So ShapeWays can't lose it. Incase you order this, you may want to go order the 4 extra domes on a spur to be sure your going to get a dome. Otherwise please, PLEASE just order the other version of this guy. We have been assured by The Service Team at ShapeWays, that the other version will print without issue. They even had an engineer double check it to be sure. So you can order either with no concerns. We @TheVerse are trying to make life for our customers as easy as we can, mainly by dealing with these issues quickly.

@Starvihawk Test prints are completed. Printed 3 times, and from what I know, no issues.
