Classics Optimus Prime Smokestacks

Classics Optimus Prime Smokestacks 3d printed Toys
More realistic smokestacks for classics Optimus Prime (or any character using the same mold). Attaches to both vehicle and robot modes, as well as when combined with the Xovergen Masterarmor. These will work on any official classics optimus prime mold, but will NOT work on the KO versions due to difference peg sizes. Tested & recommended material is WSF polished. Please order at your own risk, handle parts with care, and sand where needed. Handle slowly and with care when connecting and removing parts from toys to avoid damage. @Scottman_XIII oh ok, i guess someone jumped the gun before you did and ordered in alumide. anyways, my model was rejected and could not be printed in alumide because of the spruce connecting the 2 pieces was too thin. anyways i have updated the model so it does not have that connecting piece, hopefully this will pass the alumide test when someone orders. if for some reason it still does not pass, then i will have to take the material down, sorry

@chromahands hiya, I haven't put an order in for these yet, gonna bulk order a few things in one go, but thanks for the heads up :-)

@Scottman_XIII hi, were you the one who ordered in alumide? looks like they cannot print in alumide because it requires a bigger thickness tolerance. let me remove the ultra-thin spruce off the smokestacks and then you can try again

@chromahands hi, I'll try it out with my next order - thanks :-)

@Scottman_XIII hi, just for you i have added alumide and polished alumide. however since i have not tested in this material, i cannot guarantee that it will fit well on your toy. but that said, if you do choose to go this route let me know how it turns out!

Could more material options be added? e.g. Polished Alumide then folks could be really lazy?

hi, both materials should work okay, but the WSF unpolished material is quite rough on the surface, so if you are lazy like me and dont want to sand, i would choose WSF polished; the actual smokestacks you see in all the photos are WSF polished too so it should work out okay

Hi, these smokestacks look simple yet really great! Which of the 2 materials should I choose when I order?
