One verse of the Masnavi masterpiece by Mevlana Jalal al-Din Muhammad Rumi (book 1, story 1, verse 113) engraved on this upper arm cuff.
Interpretation: "Although the commentary of the tongue makes (all) clear,
yet tongueless love is clearer."
Forgive me for not using the nastaliq script, for it should be accompanying this poetry and in appearance it is one of the most beautiful styles. Unfortunately due to its forms it's less suitable for clear engravings on this scale.
