Version 2.0

This is a replacement hose for TF: Prime Beast Hunters voyager Shockwave! In bot mode, one end pegs onto the middle of his back, and the other attaches to the slot at the base of his cannon. The entire length of the hose measures an impressive 286mm which fits perfectly with the large size of this figure. The links are flexible enough to allow Shockwave to carry out a number of poses with his gun arm.

Strong Flexible material recommended. This model was successfully tested in Black Strong Flexible.

@sarge133 I might venture to say it's because there was too much powder clogged in that cavity where the connecting rod is, thus causing the rod to twist and shear when you tried to bend the hose. Alas, I'm sorry to hear that it happened. Apart from careful wriggling of the hose to loosen that powder (plus using toothpicks/needles to pry them loose), I can't think of other solutions to solve that.

Snapped you the best picture of the problem that I could get. The tiny white dots in that mess is where it sheared off. I hope this helps in some way. I'll definitely be picking up another to try again, after your DOTM Shockwave hose, I have high hopes for this one! When it was on the figure, it looks the business! Pure gold in the looks department.

@fakebusker83 Right at the connection to the rotation pin(?) in the links themselves, where that pin joins with the flat connecting bar between the links. Sorry I dont have a photo, my camera isnt near good enough for that kind of a detailed shot.

Hi @sarge133 , thank you for your feedback. FUD was never made available for this model so you don't have to worry about that. You mentioned the connectors are shearing off. Do you have a photo of that? I'm curious to know where are the weak spots. Lastly for the cannon connection you sometimes have to take a blade to it and shave it down to fit. This version is in fact version 2.0, but there's only so much we can do with idiosyncrasies with the fabrication process.

WARNING: VERY FRAGILE! I just recieved my copy today in Black Strong Flexible, it seems the tolerances within the connections between the links. When I pulled it out of package and gave it a couple of test bends (nothing crazy, just stuff that would be within norms of a few poses) the connectors started shearing off clean. Also, the connection to the cannon itself is crazy tight. I would love to see a Version 2 with the connections updated and strengthened up to withstand some wear and tear. DO NOT BUY THIS WITH FUD!
