The “Clip on vase” is an accessory bringing double functionality to an IKEA Pokal glass (or any other with diameter of 83-86 mm) so that it can also be used as a vase. A simple click is required to convert your glass into an aesthetically pleasing vase.
The shape has been optimized so that it uses as little material as possible without compromising the functionality of the product. You can have a look at the product in details on
"Clip on vase” required a generative/parametric modeling process which is described in video tutorial on my website here

@LokiLaufeysen Please, use your full palm to clip the vase on top of the glass. It will only extend and shrink for the required tight clip! Don't worry it won't break :) You don't need to warm it with hot water or whatsoever. I've designed the Clip on vase to have smaller diameter than the one of Ikea Pocal glass in purpose and using "strong & flexible material" enables this product to work our perfectly Thank you very much for choosing my work, please try now to clip it normally and enjoy it :)

I'm the wraith the clip on vase arrived only had one problem with it and I have the solution it wouldn't fit on an Ikea pokal glass unless you warm the lip of the vase clip with warm water first and make it expand a bit. sorry for the semi bad review It's great and I love it.

@chstephe there's now a screencast of how Clip on vase was digitally designed using Rhino3D and plug-ins for generative & algorithmic modeling. A 10 minute video
