Bare-Fronted Hoodwink Bird Skeleton

Bare-Fronted Hoodwink Bird Skeleton 3d printed Figurines Sculptures WSF Polished
WSF Polished
  • White

White nylon plastic polished to reveal a smooth matte finish.

This is an anatomically correct skeleton of The Bare-Fronted Hoodwink, the legendary bird that is identified by almost being seen. The jaw is hinged and printed as one piece.

This model is part of the "Mythic Articulations" product line.

I suggest WSF, and then dyed in tea or something to give it bone color (and paint the beak and toes for more realism). Or just leave it white for a bleached bone look. Successfully printed in WSF and WSF Polished.

(If the legs are too close together out of the box, just spread them apart and heat them a bit with a hair dryer.)

CM: 4.89 w x 13.138 d x 10.262 h

I can confirm that dyeing in tea works!

Received this creature today and am amazed how well this delicate looking sculpture stands up and balances. Legs were fine out of the packing, no need to heat. Thanks!
