In the 1930's the Boeing P-26 Peashooter was the standard fighter plane of tUS Army Air Corps. A quite modern design at the start of its career, it was obsolete at the beginning of the Second World War. Even so, it saw some action in the Philippines when the Japanese attacked the archipelago. It also was exported to various countries, notably China.

Wikipedia has more information about the original.

The model has printed successfully in WSF several times, but failed the stricter criteria for WSF Polished. I have repaired the model 9th.January 2014 and it should now print in all the materials offered.
