Simensays Add-On Big Kit to be used with the Simensays Foldable Landing Gear. Includes FPV vTx tray, external battery tray, gear support tray and 2x cross member mounts. No screws or tubes are included.

This is an option kit for adding additional gear to your DJI Phantom, when using the Simensays Foldable Landing Gear. These parts can easily be fabricated, using cheap materials you probably have laying around the house or garage. Many people have asked me to make this kit available for sale, but I would make the parts myself if I were you, as I think the pricing for producing parts like this is too high when 3D printing them.

Use 6mm tubing for the bars/tubes that mounts into the landing gear bases, and some 6mm ID rubber grommets.

@reuter It is mounts for a cross member / cross bar, for extra support at heavy loads, or to add gear onto. See the first pics in the series above.

@simensays for what are the two parts left and right side from the fvp holder?

@halifax I use different length for different set up. For example, I only use one short tube, about 15cm long when I only use the FPV Tx - and two longer tubes (from about the battery door all the way back to the rear arms), when I want to add on more gear. Find whatever lengths that suits your set up & preferences the best :)

Thank you for offering this. What do you recommend for the 6mm tube lengths?

@reuter The parts in the video is the prototype parts, as mentioned, and yes the parts available for sale are improved and the batteries can be fixed in the same way. The finished parts are also much lighter, and at the same time stronger.
