General Designs Auxillary Craft

A popular basic fighter type, the stock Spectre II is unshielded, but highly manouverable. It is armed with twin 35mm gatling cannon and carries a load of up to eight missiles.

The Army Of The Red Spear''s own variant, the Apparition, is shielded and carries plasma-pulse cannon instead of gatlings, showing just how versitile this basic hull is.

@Darkwing Thanks! The Spectre II has an interesting design history - it started out as a fold-flat 25mm cardboard model done by my Dad. Then I shrunk it down to a non-fold-flat cardboard 6mm version and finally shrunk down to this scale (where, obviously! I had to drop some of the smaller features just because they weren't visible!) Your models will also see the tabletop before mine do! I've got about six squadrons that I've just not go around to painting up yet!

Very nice little fighter design. With the size of each ship, there is not much detail, but there is more than enough to make them look excellent once painted up and put in a formation. I bought three squadrons of these (36 fighters all together) and could not be more pleased. This is a very good basic fighter and these minis will make their combat debut this weekend.
