In my designs, I try to extract the sense of beautiful things in the world and turn those ingredients into my 3D jewelry designs. I carefully consider all the curves that define the piece to achieve an elegant result. From hand and 3D sketches to the final design, I must adjust the piece several times to bring out the ideal look and best quality to represent each wearer's unique personality. You can make endless adjustments in 3D, but it is very important for me to have a physical piece so I can see the best size and look as it rests on the human body. The Form 1 is the best prototype tool for me to make my "physical sketches" without compromising quality or design! With the high-resolution Form 1 printer, I will have immediate "physical sketches" of my designs to test before ordering the final products in precious materials from Shapeways.

This necklace captures the swaying effect of the wearer's changing posture and movements to show the delicacy and elegance of the body. When I designed this necklace, I was inspired by traditional chain mail techniques, to which I added a sense of spring. I used skills from my architectural training to construct a seamless "structure." After refining the design several times to make sure the necklace would sway in a beautiful way, finally, here is a unique and energetic necklace you will surely enjoy!
Note: Please treat this necklace gently and avoid stretching it. The plastic has some flexibility but could break if treated too violently.
