hey i'm really interested in it but do have some questions since i'm not really familiar with how great 3d printing can be yet, so this would come with all the gears and the lens eye scopes? and also would this include the cowl underneath the mask that he wears please respond when you can.

@trigsim This is surprisingly cheap for a prop, even unfinished. A finished version of this mask from a prop maker would probably run you $400+. You can buy this and get all the extra bits for it for around $40

@trigsim It's 3D printing baby wow! I'm not adding extra price with this much. Much people like this and they finish this without thinking about cost. Life for 3D printers is so hard sometimes but replicas are so good. ;) Try to find better replicas elsewhere. ;)

this is cool and all, but $100 for something that lacks certain details and tons of other parts, it's not worth it.

@Xerord I don't know bro. When I order models on Shapeways I usally wait around 10 days.

if I order now, when will I get it? I live in Norway...

@AlejandroReed You order model and shapeways staff print it and ship to you. I'm just only designer.

Ok, just wondering do you print these out and then send it to us or what? I am relatively new to this whole 3D printer thing, so I don't know and I don't own one.

@MrTrouble thank you for all the help, I will be making my purchase soon hopefully in time for Halloween

@Atmmat Do you heard about shapeways before? "We"- designers just uploading models on shapeways. But the rest of printing process and shipment belongs to Shapeways staff. Search on YouTube or Google it. They even making invoices. And it's fully legal site. ;)

@MrTrouble yeah i saw the finished product and it looks amazing, and i am aware that this would be a diy project. I just want to make sure that this site is legitimate. A little caution goes a long way.

@Atmmat Hi Atmmat, if you not sure about this mask, just copy and paste link from "crackerbitz" comment and you'll see that it's a real model. But remember and read description, it's DIY (Do it yoursefl) model. Thats mean you buy only that white base for the mask (look on pictures) and you have to finnish it on your own.

I'm interested in buying this mask but i would like a little bit of proof that thos isn't a scam or something before giving out my credit card number .does anybody have a picture of the mask they received? If anybody is willing to help me out contact me at

Maybe a download link for the file? I have my own 3D-printer and would like to give it a try :D

Great print! When I received it I was worried with how thin it was that it would break easily, but the plastic is surprisingly durable even with generous bending. I glued small bits of foam on the inside to strengthen the thinnest parts, and several coats of sealer, paint and varnish added to the strength. All the extra bits are wire, jewelry pieces and sculpey that you can find at Michaels or a general craft store. Here's how my copy of the mask turned out:

does it come with instruction on how to build it .
July 29, 2013, 1:53 pm
@HekateLesedi Yes, mask is without this "disc", like in description, it's kind a DIY model.
June 4, 2013, 11:22 pm
I am assuming that the bronze-colored disc on the right side of the forehead does not come with this product? Looks insanely awesome. I might have to just buy this and the sword...
June 4, 2013, 9:20 pm
@Tenhawk Error is fixed. Now everything should be fine. Best material for it is White Strong & Flexible. ;)
June 4, 2013, 5:22 pm
What material is it supposed to be? Shapeways won't print it in white, just got a note from them.
June 3, 2013, 3:54 pm
@Dremorarage You can make mechanical parts from copper wires, and... things. It's a DIY model so you must use your imagination. These parts should be available in any big store like Bricomarche or Walmart.
May 31, 2013, 10:41 pm
Does it come with the mechanical parts if not do you know where i can buy them
