Planetary gearbox 4:1 for NEMA17 Stepper motor

Welcome to my garage!

The use of stepper motors are widely extended among the DIY world. One basic type is the NEMA 17 model, used in milling tables, 3D printers, sliders and Time Lapse systems for photography, etc. If we add a gearbox to the engine, we get:

  1. Increased torque
  2. Increased retention torque
  3. Decreased minimum turning step

Here we present a low cost gearbox manufactured by SLS for a NEMA 17.

El uso de motores paso a paso (Pap) de construcción tipo NEMA 17 está ampliamente extendido entre los aficionados al háztelo tu mismo, empleándose en mesas de corte, impresoras 3D, deslizadores para sistemas de traveling y time lapse de uso en fotografía, etc. Acoplando una reductora al motor, conseguiremos:

  1. Aumentar el par de giro
  2. Aumentar el par de retención
  3. Disminuir el paso mínimo

Aquí presentamos una reductora de bajo coste fabricada por SLS para NEMA 17.
