Alumide
Alumide is White, Strong & Flexible with Aluminum dust mixed in. It is made using the Selective Laser Sintering process. The material has a higher heat resistance than regular plastics. Its melting temperature is above 172 Celsius It costs $1.99 per cubic centimeter (plus $1.50 start up costs per model).
The surface is smoother than White, Strong & Flexible (WSF) and is a matte grey with speckles of shiny aluminum dust thrown in.
Please note: the design rules are different from our WSF material, in particular the minimum wallthickness and the minimum detail information are different.
