Position summary
Shapeways is seeking Quality Engineer to join our growing engineering team. We are driven technologists who possess a blend of business savvy, product intuition, and superb coding skills. We run a LAMP stack for our consumer facing products, and have C/C++, Java, Python, and other technologies in our back-office and supply chain tools.You are a self-motivated engineer in test with excellent time management and detail orientation. You are a team player and thrive in a startup environment where there are many changes and challenges. You are intimately familiar with unit and automated testing, version control, multi-browser testing, negative testing, test cases, and product specifications. You have a passion for ensuring quality on high-volume.
Responsibilities:
- Identify test cases and gaps in requirements
- Estimate time to test for a release
- Write automated test scripts
- Perform bug triage and prioritization
- Cross-functional communication
Qualifications:
- 4+ Years as a QA Engineer in a high-volume e-commerce environment
- Expert in automated testing and bug reporting
- Expert in communication and time management
- Familiar with HTML, CSS, Javascript, and PHP/Java/Other
