Production Manager

so, the Production Manager role might be perfect for you! We’re hiring a smart, motivated

leader to manage the production team and run manufacturing at our state of the art 3D

printing production facility in Eindhoven.

Your big challenge will be scaling 3D printing as a production technology to support all our

customers’ orders (over 30,000 unique products last month!). Simultaneously, you will be

tasked with reducing costs and lead-time, while improving quality and introducing new

materials.

You will be one of the key players helping Shapeways grow by creating a mature and

world-class production environment to meet our customers’ demands. You will report to the

Operations Manager in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire the production team
  • Scale the 3d printing manufacuring facility times ten and more
  • Continually improve the production process, product quality, and delivery time
  • Drive machine utilisation
  • Introduce new materials and technologies in manufacturing

Qualifications:

  • Technical education (Master's level)
  • Minimum of 3 years experience, preferably in a lean production environment
  • Knowledge of and experience with quality management systems
