Charles Darwin's first ever sketch of a tree of life printed in solid silver. Each branch and minute detail of Darwin's original drawing is represented. The sketch appeared in his private notebook (“Notebook B on the transmutation of species,” 1837–1838).

Chain is NOT included, but a chain can easily be attached if you want to wear it. It comes in a soft black velvet bag.

A great gift for taxonomists, biologists, skeptics, humanists, atheists, lovers of nature and rational thought. Also a great gift for creationists, seriously, they'll love it! :)

The sketchy text on the same page of Darwin's notebook reads: "I think ... Case must be that one generation then should be as many living as now. To do this and to have many species in same genus (as is) requires extinction. Thus between A & B immense gap of relation. C & B the finest gradation, B & D rather greater distinction. Thus genera would be formed.—bearing relation."

Here is a tower-like candelabra, which has a housing for an LED and coin battery (both supplied by purchaser). While the piece is lovely and interesting on its own, a shade is available, sold separately, in the shop to diffuse the light and provide more character.

Directions for assembly:

When you look at the housing where the coin battery slips in, you will notice that there are three supports that define this space. Two look the same, and one looks a little different. Let's call the one that looks different the "back support".

Get yourself an a standard 5mm LED. Any colour is good - your choice. For the brightest, I would recommend a super bright white or an ultra bright white. But for fun, know that blue and green LED's look very nice with the moon shade if you have bought it also :) Notice that one of the wires coming from the LED is longer. This is the "positive" wire.

Insert the wires of the LED down through the top hole in the candelabra, and wrap the "positive" wire around the "back support" taking care that it is placed so that it will only touch the battery at this place and no other.

Bend the other wire in a such a way that it will touch only the topside of the battery.

Get yourself a 2cm diameter, 3 volt coin battery. The ones I use are described by this code: CR2025. Insert this battery, negative side up, into the LED Candelabra housing.

Your Candelabra should immediately turn on nicely! Note that you can slide the battery slightly away from the back support and this will turn the light out.

If you have purchased the shade, this is very easy to twist on. Simply drop the shade down allowing its slots to slide over the three housing supports. Then twist the shade to secure it fits tightly.

Enjoy!

OK, I hear you cry, why Tertiary? Whatever happened to Secondary Gain?
Well there is one, but this is just a much better puzzle. It has a level of 9 (5.1.1.2) which is trickier than Primary Gain and is definitely approaching the top end of the range for a 4x4x4 cube. The completed cube is 1.6cm on each side.

This is a three-dimensional Union Jack.

After some light sanding the parts will fit together very snugly, without any need for glue.

I've colored this one with Sharpie brand permanent marker, which appears to work well and not transfer to the white parts of the model too much.

I designed this with the plan of placing a 3/8" ball bearing in its center.  This should be easy in a flexible material; it wasn't so easy in steel.  But now that I see it, I'm not sure the center isn't better left open...your call to make.

These three parts Yin & Yang decoration represented by a pair of black and white koi fishes. This white fish is the second part.
To build them as a full decoration, all three parts has to be collected (Black & White Fishes and the holder).
The purpose of separated these statue is to make it easier for material combination so they don't have to be painted anymore.

This was a personal project, not meant for anyone to want to order, except maybe friends. The body mostly intersects with the frame and name, giving it strength to carry around.

I figure it's a pretty neat color print, so I'll leave it so you guys can see photos of it. For the size, the cost was very cheap considering size. The frame has a thickness of a pencil and is solid. Parts of the body and tail are hollow.

No mark-up since this is mostly for friends

In many cultures, the fox appears in folklore as a symbol of cunning and trickery. Like "Reynard the Fox", a medieval charistmatic character who is always in trouble but always able to talk his way out of any retribution.

I like to be clever more often, too. Not to trick but to convince when it's needed.

The Fox Whistle can be used as a pendant, so it's always to hand.

Note:
The silver material is very bright and shiny. Some designs look much better when deeper parts are blackened. You can do this easily by yourself by putting the silver jewelry in a small glass with bleach for a few minutes. After it turns dark, you can polish it partial with a sponge or a towel.
