This is my small one-piece driver/spanner tool with a number of different driver points:
6.5 x 1.2mm flat driver,
No.2 posidriv driver,
5mm hex driver,
4mm hex driver,
T25 torx driver,
1/4" hex bit driver,
13mm socket spanner.

An o-ring is required to complete the assembly to help hold a 1/4" square drive socket on the square post (5mm ID, 1mm diameter, not included).

This model is designed to be printed in Stainless Steel or one of it's variants.
The tool can easily be secured to a keychain or lanyard with a 10mm split ring or a No.2 McGizmo clip or similar 25mm gate clip using the hole in the flat driver.

There are some more photos of this object and other examples of my work, both 3D printed and otherwise, on my 'Tofty' facebook page.

About this puzzle
The SuperX was first made by Adam Cowan in December 2006. However, the puzzle was very squishy and the pieces would get out of alignment often. He later tried to improve upon his design by using ball bearings and while this helped a little, the puzzle was also not stable. Later, Andrew Cormier designed a more stable variant with a mechanism that was more like a V-Cube. This puzzle also was squishy, and he later designed a version with magnets to help keep the pieces aligned. Various copies with/without magnets have later been hand built by various builders.  Finally, I have designed a version that does not use magnets but uses a clicking mechanism, like that found on a V-Cube 6 to keep the pieces aligned. While the puzzle does not turn as well as Andrew's copy, it saves on the cost and effort of gluing in magnets (magnets don't really adhere well to superglue so they frequently fall out of the puzzle). All previous SuperX's have been built by layering a Dino Cube on to a 2x2x2. My version is the first to use a fundamentally different mechanism. It uses the same mechanism as my Dino 3x3x3, which means the pieces are not just supported from the corners but also from the (internal) edges.

The puzzle turns quite well and is completely stable, but obviously there is the clicking which is slightly more pronounced than on a VCube 6. The pieces have a tiny amount of wiggle room, but the clicking mechanism keeps them in place really well.

Buying information
Ordering this model will get you a DIY kit with all the plastic pieces necessary to build a SuperX, which you will need to assemble yourself. It does not come with the necessary stickers or screws as Shapeways cannot supply. You can purchase stickers from www.dr-sticker.com. The screws can be had from any hardware store, you need M3 screws, about 10-15mm long.
A warning beforehand: this is one of the most tricky to assemble puzzles I've designed. It will also need a good amount of lubrication and breaking in before it will turn as good as the one in my video. I have also increased the fillet radius to prevent locking up, this results in slightly larger gaps near the center than pictured.

If you do not feel like assembling your puzzle yourself, you can also order a fully finished copy from me for a price that is slightly higher than Shapeways', but you miss out on all the fun of assembling your own puzzle! For this service, contact me at tom@tomvanderzanden.nl.

Now V2.5.1!
There was an occasional failure to print, approx 1 out of every 8 were rejected for thin walls. The problem has been fixed.

Do you love your UMX Beast, but are tired of breaking those flimsy, profile OEM foam Wheel Pants?  Upgrade to these scale, virtually indestructable Wheel Pants.

These wheel pants have been designed to work with the OEM, wire landing gear and wheels.

Due to the 3D printing process, some holes will need to be "cleaned out" with a drill bit.  Don't worry!  The holes are there, there is just some residual material left in the holes from the process of creating these.  I recommend using both a 1.25mm & 1.0mm drill bits and a hobby knife.

I am currently only offering these in the White, Strong, Flexible Material and all it's varieties.  For more information on this amazing material and process can be found here, www.shapeways.com/materials/white_strong_flexible.  Also check out all the other materials that are now possible using 3D printing, www.shapeways.com/materials/.

***Recomended items for the best fit***
1pc. - OEM wire landing gear
2pc. - OEM foam wheels
1.0 & 1.25mm drill bits
Hobby Knife
A length of fishing line (for an extra measure of security)

******I will update soon with a link on the installation process.******

NOTE: This is a kit to build a toy inspired by the Hidden Blade from Assassin's Creed 3. This kit is designed specifically as a con-safe cosplay prop. The end of the prop is squared-off and blunt and is therefore in no way intended to create a potentially dangerous weapon. This lightweight mount allows you to mount a GoPro camera to the landing skid of an Align T-REX 450 Pro V2. The counter plate to fix the mount to the skid is not included, use a tie-wrap to fix the camera to the landing skid. If possible, attach the battery to the other side of the landing skid to act as a counter-weight. Fly carefully, I will not take responsibility for any damages.

GoPro tripod mount At first it's designed as the lighter possible tripod mount for a naked GoPro. The camera it´s hold in possition by rubber bands and it´s prepared to be used with the HD case lens protector, so can be, for example, in a UAV. The base it´s designed so you can mount it over a RC Servo, making a 1DOF POV camera pretty easily. This is a special version and its taller so you can attach the rubber bands even when mounted in a flat surface. Thats why its more voluminous and directly by that, more expensive :(

Spinner for the UMX Beast designed to work with the GWS line of props.  Now Version 2.1.  The side of the spinner that comes in contact with the prop now has holes.  So that the exccess material from the shapeways printing process does not get trapped inside the spinner.

This spinner was designed to press-fit onto the GWS line of props (4" to 5" dia.) that are popular with the UM & UMX line of planes.  You now have the ability to swap out different size props quickly and easily without having to worry about gluing a foam spinner on straight.

Of course (as with everything) it comes at a price.  Weight.  Version 2.1 weighs 1.26g.  The OEM foam spinner weighs 0.18g.  (this is a substantial increase in weight over the Sbach spinner simply because of it's shape.)  Please check your "center of gravity" prior to flying.

This is a 3D printed Daft Punk DIY Helmet Kit created as a tribute to one of my favorite bands. It was built in CAD and sized to be 2 inches tall when fully assembled. This is a customizable DIY Kit, that requires assembly, priming, perhaps some sanding and any art medium can be applied to it. Lights can be added like the original if the visor is replicated in clear resin and this can fit on just about any toy. I'm designing the second of the duo-series and will post it soon. If you want to have your mini Helmet kit produced in other materials you can select them at checkout. (Note: These are 3D printed and will exhibit small but minimal mesh textures. You can order it polished to avoid the mesh texture but for the best value you can very easily primer and sand these yourselves in the regular format) Note: Shapeways produces/prints my 3D design in flexible white plastic once your order is placed. Each unique piece is made to order so keep in mind these arrive 2 to 3 weeks after you place your order. Thank you A. Zamora This helmet is fan made and therefore has absolutely no connection with daft punk. It has been made as a tribute and therefore I not associated in any way

This is a brake or gear cable stop designed for use on a bamboo, wooden or carbon fibre bicycle where fittings such as these need to be glued and screwed on, rather than welded. This cable stop has two countersunk screw holes with 3mm diameter to allow for a M3 screw to be used to affix to the bicycle frame. The bottom of this cable stop is curved for tubing 35mm in diameter, so it's suitable for use on down, top and seat-tubes. See my other smaller diameter design for use on seat and chain stays

Hyperion 25e-class P-51D Mustang Cockpit Kit and Pilot

This cockpit kit with a pilot figure is intended to be used in the 1206mm wingspan radio controlled Hyperion 25e-class P-51D Mustang aircraft, but can of course be fine for many other similar sized Mustangs. The combat sight in instrument panel has grooves for placing a piece of transparent plastic as the reflector lens. This kit is easy to paint with acrylic paints, as show in sample pictures.

Scale is approx. 1/9th (base on Hyperion 25e P-51D series RC models).

NOTE: Remember this is made for the 2008 and earlier version Hyperion 25e Mustangs, which had the flat bottom in the cockpit. You need to modify the 2011 cockpit somewhat to make this fit.

Seat with radio batteries weights ~15 grams (about 0.5 oz).
Instrument panel with combat sight weights ~5 grams.
Pilot weights ~15 grams (about 0.5 oz).

A set of 2 guns made just for Generations Warpath. The gun can work 3 ways. It can peg into Warpath's hand like a normal gun. It can collapse and be used when Warpath's hand is rotated inside the forearm. There is also a 3mm clip so the guns can attach to his tank mode. This is not a toy, it's more like a garage kit. There might be some work to do, sanding the pegs so they fit nice and tight. With some materials there's always some size discrepancy from the 3D design to the printed material. T

This weapon will work with any 5mm fist hole. It also has a 3mm alternate peg so it can be used on either the G2P-005b Tech Spec or the G2P-005a Chromehead parts. It is a scaled recreation of Generation 1 Chromedome's handguns, though it will probably not work with the original toy.

Cooksey Maze is a maze concept invented by an Englishman named "Mr. Richard Cooksey" in the 1970's. An evolved metal+plastic version with springs and pins was prototyped by Pentangle, but it was never taken in production. Oskar has been trying to locate Cooksey for quite some time, as the original "Cooksey Cilinder" has been an inspiration for many of Oskar's puzzle designs. This is a modified version of the original Cooksey Cylinder with a much simplified mechanism.

Earn a free Cooksey Maze if you can bring Oskar in contact with the original inventor of this maze concept. We know nothing more than his name, the fact that he is an Englishman, and that he already was an adult in the 1970's. Also the people who operated Pentangle in the 1970's do not have more identifying information.
