The Yasuhara Madoka 180 fisheye lens is currently the only lens for the Sony NEX system that offers a complete circular image. Compact and lightweight, the Nomad Panohead for the Madoka 180 lens is quick and simple to use for creating spherical panoramic photos in 4 shots, an comes in 2 versions, a fixed tilt and multi-tilt version. The Nomad Panohead body and fasteners are sold and shipped separately, due to the production process. You need to purchase fasteners to operate the Nomad Panohead.

Requires modification of handunit; need to install a 4-40 socket cap screw as indexing mark for rounded notch.
This material is porous so you need to finish with a few coats of polyurethane to seal it, but will never be as fully impermeable to markers as rings machined from Delrin or other solid plastic.
This is the core of the head replacement customization. Dying required if transparent detail was selected. Otherwise, paint to match the rest of the head if white detail was selected.
Must be mounted between front and back parts, prior to gluing.
Recommended material: Frosted Ultra Detail
TIP: A sharpie marker will do an adequate job of coloring this piece if ordered in Transparent Detail.
WARNING: Depending on which Shapeways production facility and which equipment is used when this piece is crafted, it may be necessary to lightly shave off a few corners of this part to facilitate final assembly. Thoroughly clean this part prior to painting since the Transparent Detail appears to need a cleaning session to get rid of some excess material. In some instance, it may even be necessary to lightly scrape residual material off (it'll come off as a gooey powder and underneath, you should feel hard plastic).
I've prototyped this on Sandstone but it should be made from metal. I'm including sandstone as an option so it can be made cheaply to test the size before you commit to spending more money
Hole centers are 54mm. Ask me for the design file for the strap.

Wit the new printing technology available we are finally able to print out that long needed item, true scale hardware. These items are not something "close enough" to look OK. Our hardware kits are the correct sizes and they even have the correct chamfers on the bolts and nuts. You will find two types of assemblies in this kit.
1) The first one is a bolt head and washer assembly with plenty of bolt shank aid you in placement and provide some holding ability
2) The second on is a nut, washer, and bolt stud assembly.
These assemblies are all one piece and are not separable. The modeler just needs to drill the appropriate sized hole in their model part and glue the assembly into place.
Please note: Our nuts and bolts do not have threads on them. At the present time the printing technology just is not able to reproduce this level of detail.........but some day it will!!!

Unfortunately the new NXT 2.0 set (8547) contains different components and the gripper parts are no longer in the box.
As a real Lego addict I wanted to be able to use these fingers for some real gripping action but could not find them available on the internet. OK, you got me ... I am not a real addict otherwise I would have found a 2nd hand NXT 1.0 for sale somewhere ;-)
The design mimics the original Lego design but is different on some details.
Update on 2-Feb-11: The edges looked a bit rough due to the layering so I added a fillet to make the edges more smooth. Also made the mounting holes for axle and pegs a bit wider to have an easier fit on standard Lego components.
If you do not want to paint the fingers yourself, just select your color. The Alumide fits very well with the original Lego components.
Also have a look at the "set of 4", that set contains 4 grippers that are stacked together to create one larger part that is cheaper than 4 separate fingers.

New in v2.2: The green power port is no longer covered by the mount. The mount wraps around the rear of the power port and allows for an external power supply to be used to power the module.

Additional info for twisty-puzzle experts: Crazy Comet is an umodded, unbandaged version of Okamoto's Bevel Cube and Adam Cowan's Helicopter Cube. It is the smallest isometric twisty puzzle that "jumbles". According to the definition by Bram Cohen, a "jumbling twisty puzzle" is a non-doctrinaire twisty puzzle that cannot be unbandaged into a doctrinaire one. Got it?

You can also screw your existing battery plate onto this Bolt cage (so the cage is sandwiched between the monitor and your battery plate.) You need 4x M3 nuts (they press fit into the ears that stick out) and 4x M3 x 10mm screws to hold the cage and battery plate together. The photos here show my customized battery plate (also available for sale—see here) attached onto the Bolt Cage. The customized battery plate has a cutout for a voltage display as well as a cutout for a 2-pin Lemo receptable, to power the Bolt with a short jumper cable. See Battery Plate for more details.
The Bolt cage has cutouts for the two HD-SDI ports, the Lemo connector, USB and mini-plug. The antennas in the Bolt receiver are in the top portion of the unit, and they remain clear of obstruction for good signal reception.
The lug on the left side is meant to accommodate the tapping and installation of a 1/4-20 helicoil. This allows you to use a 1/4-20 nylon thumbscrew to lock the Bolt in place.
Black Strong and Flexible is the recommended material; you should give the final 3D print a coat of satin-finish water-based polyurethane to seal the dye in place and provide some scuff resistance. Photos of actual 3D print above show the cage with a coat of satin-finish water-based polyurethane. The material is porous so it soaks right in.
