I present my Sterling Silver AAA LED Torch (Flashlight).
This is the 'HEAD' unit for the light.
The internals needed are from an MXDL 3W Luxeon LED light;- shown in one of the pictures.
This is an elegant yet fully functional item of jewelry that should last pretty much forever with careful treatment.
To build this torch the following is required:
1. Silver AAA Torch 2 Head,
2. Silver AAA Torch 2 Tail (not included, see my shop),
3. MXDL 3W Luxeon LED AAA light (not included, but available on ebay for just a few dollars so i advise ordering more than one, there are many more ebay sellers of this item than just the one in the link so shop around).
Despite the MXDL's low price it is a very durable and relatively bright little light with the components easily removed from the doner light.
However if damage or failure were to occur, due to the ease and cheapness of replacements, the host light can be brought back to life without great expense or drama.

I present my 3D Printed Silver (Ag) Torch Project.
This is the main body section with serial number 002.
The finished light's specifications are:
An LED-Tech Cree XM-L U2 mounted on a 16mm copper MCPCB,
Shining through a Carclo 10003 20mm TIR lens,
Driven by an uprated 3.04A 8xAMC7135 multi-mode driver set to low/medium/high with memory,
Powered by an AW IMR 16340 high discharge cell,
Controlled by a tail mounted McClicky switch and extra sprung silver switch cover. The switch cover holds 6 off 2x6mm tritium vials.
