This is slightly larger than the standard D20. In steel it has a heft that makes it feel more like a tool than a toy.

Breaking news!
The KickStarter project has been sucessful!
Thank you all!
This die will be mass produced in March 2013!

D18 Sphere

This is a Truncated Sphere D18.

The numbering has been done very carefully. Of course, numbers on opposite faces sum to 19. This leads to the fact that the 8 numbers around any of the 3 diameters sum to 76. But the dificulty has been the have the 6 numbers surrounding a spherical zone to sum to 57. It works for all the 8 zones (for instance, in the rendering - the brown one - you can see: 18 + 3 + 13 +11 + 7 + 5 = 57).

See this thread for more informations.

Available Truncated Sphere Dice: D1, D3, D4, D5, D6, D7, D8, D9, D10, D%, D11, D12, D13, D14, D15, D16, D17, D18, D19, D20, D24, D32, D33
Alternative shapes: alt D6 (3-fold), alt D7 (2-fold), alt D8, 3-fold D10 (rounded), 3-fold D10 (pointed), 4-fold D10, 5-folded D10 (pointed), Optimal D11, alt D24 (snub)
Coming soon: D21, D22, D23, D50
Related dice: Concave D4, Concave D6, D3 Shell, D4 Shell, D6 Shell, D8 Shell.

Plugged Dice is a 60x60x60 mm cube puzzle (same size as Rubik's). It was suggested by Fred Horn. The object is to insert the eight plugs. This is quite a puzzle as each plug can be inserted in many ways, but the whole fits only in one way. The puzzle comes as a kit. When you buy it, you'll have to paint the cube yourself (I typically use a bath of acid-based clothing dye), and glue in the five dots.

Novelty 1-sided die. It's a mobius strip with a couple 1's embossed on it. I can't think of any real use for it, but - hey - you know it would be fun to add this one to your collection!

Dice-Cage is a fun and clever dice-device, which can contain several regular dice (size 16mm). A lot of board-games like Catan, Monopoly or Backgammon etc, use several dice which are thrown simultaniously. From now on you can just throw the Dice-Cage and all of the inside dices are displayed neatly inside the cage, not all over the board or on the ground. You may also use it as a dice-shaker. Dices can be pushed in through the centre frame of each face and can be removed likewise. Available in 5 colors. (dice not included)

A die in the shape of the symbol PI. To make it even better this die is perfectly weighted and all sides are roughly the same landing area. If rolled on a flat surface this die will roll fair so you can actually use it.

This die has been tested and found to be fair.

A set of FIVE dice in this item: d4, d6, d8, d12, d20. Each die is realized by a "skeleton" (See Sylook''s shop at http://www.shapeways.com/shops/the_shop_of_small_wonders for the idea behind it), with a wireframe model of the *dual* of the relevant polyhedron surrounding the skeleton. The numerals are affixed to the wireframe, which is free to move around on the skeleton--but not too far. Hence the name "rattling bones." (The d4 is a little different; the numbers are on the ends of the skeleton)

So far, has been canceled in steel (antique bronze glossy. reason: Loose parts can't be kept loose without breaking) and in Alumide (reason: Thin wall,
(Probably will be impossible to clean in detail material. I don't know about glass, but I think these really have to be done in strong&flexible.)
