This is a fun 1/16 music note that can be used to decorate in a music room or anything musical. It has been tested for sturdiness and is quite robust in WSF.
For use in either handheld shooting scenarios where a tripod mount point is not needed or to attach to rail systems or camera rig, in which case you won’t need a QR adapter. If you are using this for the RGBDtoolkit workflow you will want to have a way to attach to a tripod for the purposes of calibration. Sensor: Primesense ASUS Xtion Pro & Xtion Pro Live Supplies needed: Quick Release Adapter Set, 1” 1/4-20 countersunk screw, 1/4-20 nut. This can easily be mounted on the hotshoe of your camera with a part like the 1/4"- 20 Tripod Screw to Hot Shoe Adapter.
Lock for running shoes speed laces. Laces through the round piece, wedge in, squeeze wedge to lock it in it's place. Remember to print a pair, one for each shoe!
White strong & flexible works, but is a little rough straight from the printer. It will wear out smoother quickly.
Custom made adapter for all 3M sanders with self generated vacuum, so a tool balancer can be connected in a better and more secure location, great for a manufacturing environment.
This is the easiest way I've found to mount my GoPro camera to just about anything, or at least anything you can get a hose clamp around. In this version, the GoPro mount axis is perpendicular to the hoseclamp axis. These mounts are made to work with 1/2" wide hose clamps, the run-of-the-mill hose clamps you can buy at any hardware store. To keep the mounts from sliding around whatever you're clamping them to, it helps to put a piece of rubber inside the hose clamp. I find that a cheap pack of vacuum cleaner drive-belts fits the bill perfectly.
This design is a slide for a spectrophotometer on an iPhone case. There are three pieces that need to be printed as part of the design. You can download the slide here and you can find the other two by going to my profile or through these links. Case: http://shpws.me/dxR8 Tube: http://shpws.me/dxSV You can print the designs through Shapeways. It is relatively cheap and you aren't paying any expenses to me.
*****IMPORTANT*****
In order to have the complete spectrophotometer, you need to have the three pieces printed and you also need to buy a linear diffraction grating (1000 lines/mm). You can find very cheap diffraction gratings on sites like ebay or amazon. Just search for linear diffraction gratings 1000 lines/mm and the gratings should be 2" X 2".
It is easy to put together the 3 printed pieces and the diffraction grating. They all slide together and the iPhone case slips on right on top of an iPhone.
The complete case is very lightweight and is easy to use. I highly recommend using the black plastic material to make the printed pieces. This is so extraneous light doesn't make its way into the tube. Don't use any translucent building material.
With this case and diffraction grating you will be able to point the end of the case at any object and you will be able to see the spectral lines for the light being emitted or reflected off of that object. You can point it at a fluorescent light, for example, and see the spectral lines for the light being emitted. You can take pictures of the spectrum with the camera on your iPhone and use them for whatever you want. You could also use it as a colorful background picture.
