A tea light ring with flaps that remind me of tree ears (a kind of fungus that grows on tree trunks). It has thick enough walls to be printable in the matte white glass, I think (3mm), but could also work in other materials, such as transparent detail, or sandstone if you like the shape and want something a bit cheaper.

There are forms however that we consider to be pleasing to the eye that are both chaotic and graceful. Smoke trails have a unpredictability to their form that is so random in design language it can be difficult to understand why we find them so attractive. Smoke art from Japan really shows off the abstract forms and complex, graceful patterns. Much like the elegant silk strings that appear from the end of an incense stick, that once reach a certain height evolve into a completely different form with unique characteristics . The Flo hanging light shade emanates a ethereal, atmospheric glow.

These three parts Yin & Yang decoration represented by a pair of black and white koi fishes. This Holder is the third part.
To build them as a full decoration, all three parts has to be collected (Black & White Fishes and the holder).
The purpose of separated these statue is to make it easier for material combination so they don't have to be painted anymore.

An elegant glass cover for a tea light, with an opening at the top. The walls are 3mm thick, so I think it should be suitable for printing in milky white glass (although I'm not sure how transparent this material actually is). It's probably a bit thick for the best lighting effect in WSF, but should work well in Transparent Detail. The only openings are in the top and base. Suitable for use only with an LED light in most materials (glass and stainless steel are exceptions, I believe).

Lichenfan sculpture is 3D printed by Shapeways in their 'sandstone' material, a gypsum based, very rigid, hard material that feels similar to sandstone.
It can be used as table top lighting with an L.E.D candle (battery powered candle). The LED candle is not included. Shapeways 3D prints and ships the light shade / sculpture part only.

Care instructions:The material can break if dropped on hard surfaces, handle it as you would a precious ceramic object. SAFETY NOTE: Not suitable for use with real candles.

This design can also be used as a lamp shade (extra parts required).

Add some 3D printed elegance to your table.

My first products in 3D printed ceramics were the Ceramic Coasters and this time I wanted to create more of classical and beautiful product with a simple purpose. Inspired by the curves, flowing surfaces and gentle ridges found on sea shells, I created a shape that is a continous surface which is curls around and inside itself to create an object that naturally holds a candle. The candle holder is made to fit the IKEA Jubla crown candles and most other crown candles and is available in five different colors (hang-tag not included!) This is a bracket for the TrackTrailer TVAN that takes advantage of an eye plate that's factory mounted on the side near the kitchen. Lights (not included, LED recommended) can be mounted to this bracket and the bracket then simply sits into the eye plate for quick set up at camp. NB: Due to variances in manufacturing and materials as well as variation in the eye plates this is designed to fit to, the fit is intentionally tight and in some instances may require filing or sanding to adjust. The alternative of making the fit looser would result in it being too loose in some instances which couldn't be adjusted.

A tea light cover with a pattern of raised latitudinal and longitudinal lines. Best printed in WSF, white detail, or transparent detail - other materials are unlikely to be translucent enough. Note that this is only suitable for use with LED lights (which won't be too hot).

In Chinese philosophy, the concept of Yin-Yang -- literally meaning "shadow and light" -- is used to describe how seemingly opposite forces are interconnected in the natural world. Many natural dualities (dark & light, female & male, water & fire, etc.) are thought of as physical manifestations of the yin-yang concept.

In this lamp, yin and yang are complementary forces, interacting to form a whole greater than either separate part.

This softly wrapped surface makes an amazing lamp, bright on the left side and darker on the right. This lamp could simply not exist without 3D-printing. The surface is entirely defined by a mathematical function, transformed into a polygonal mesh using the open source software "functy". This polygonal mesh has then been processed by a home-made Python script that created more than 25,000 holes in its surface. These holes serve two purposes: they yield amazing "moiré" effects and also help lowering the printing cost. The perforated surface has then been finalized using the open source software blender (addition of a thicker border, feets, internal cavity for the LED lamp).

The lamp is provided as is, with no lighting or electrical equipment. The cavity in the middle of the lamp can host a GU-10 based LED lamp (the hole has a 52mm diameter, the GU-10 LED lamps are 50mm large). With few watts, these LEDs can provide a powerful light, equivalent to a 30 to 70 W traditional lamp. They can be directly connected to the grid (do not require a dedicated transformer).

Tea light ring (but be careful of heat - white, strong and flexible is supposed to be OK to 80 deg. C/176 deg. F).
(Scaled up a bit because I realized it wasn't going to fit around my glass tea-light holder - but the smaller one is still available.)

The snowflake is a 3D version of a snowflake in glyphomosaic.png, a file that comes with Meshlab, credited to "RANDIJROST" (I think).

Nebula Lamp reflect a research about computational tools as essential elements for the form finding process and additive manufacturing as a meaning of production. The 3d printed object is no longer just a prototype, but is the final product; and the characteristic look of the 3D printing plastic is no longer synonymous with an uncompleted design process but is a symbol of new processes that override in meaning and functionality the old ones.

Build by linked thin hollow helixes this lamp takes full advantage of 3D printing freedom. The light distribution is homogeneous, the used white nylon material gives a warm light. Direct look to the lightsource is mostly hidden.

The model is an assembly of 3 stl parts merged to one. The main part consist of the hollow helixes, a base mount, and an adapter ring for E27 bulb sockets 10mm (available at home depot, Hornbach, OBI, etc. see picture). The main part has to be cleaned carefully by compressed air to blow out all powder. Tumble finishing is possible.

All parts necessary to build a light source are included in this assembly, excepting a lamp stand, bulb and cable. Please take a look on one of the pictures for an lamp stand example.

I’m happy with this model as table lamp and hope you enjoy it ! It's an ideal gift.

If you need a longer adapter ring: Adapter ring for E27 bulb socket 20mm

Looks best in WSF Polished.

3D-Printed lampshade inspired by mediterranean decorative tiles.
Dimensions: 100x100x95mm
lampshade fitting = 30mm diameter
(works nicely with IKEA's HEMMA table lamp stand).
Small non-hot lightbulb, LED or IKEA's Sparsam lightbulbs suggested.

The Interlaced design creates a beautiful pattern of light and shade.
