The Scrappies - A series of originally designed small sculptures in scrap metal-look.

The body parts of the Scrappies are inspired by everything that can be found in a scrapyard: Old bolts and nuts, rusty coils, pipes, parts of ball bearings, tin cans, and more.

The figurines are worked out in minute detail, including "rust holes" and traces of an alleged "welding". The scrap metal look gives the characters their own special, irresistible charm.

Height (with stand): 18 cm

The figurines are created in the 3DP process (three-dimensional printing) from steel and bronze, from an aluminium-polyamide composite or from a gypsum-based, full-colored composite.

Products from this series are available as small, medium and large sized figurines; in white, black, colored, in steel, bronze and gold.

The figurines, while still produced by Shapeways, are not available directly through Shapeways, but you can still get one! To locate the nearest store for you, to order one or to enquire about wholesale possibilities, please send an e-mail to info@trompe.nl.

Nokia has become the first major manufacturer to release 3D printable files so their customers can download, modify and 3D print components for their phone.  Read about it on the Shapeways Blog.
This part has been printed in Nylon as supplied by Nokia. This model does not include the buttons which were too thin. I will modify this file a little and upload another version with buttons soon. Stay tuned

This is the Rear shell for Nokia Lumia 820 shell with all parts. It is available for 3D printing as is in Nylon, or you can download and modify the file with any cosmetic or functional feature you like.

Nokia has released this file under a Creative Commons License

You can read more about their file on the Nokia Developer site.

Please read Nokia's terms and conditions, and sharing protocol

The first crop formation of the summer 2008 appeared in England on April 19, on Waden Hill between Avebury and Silbury Hill, in bright yellow canola (AKA rapeseed). It was close to 200 feet in diameter, up near the brow of the hill. The model is solid and symmetrical, radii implemented. Model can be downloaded freely. I don't charge a personal fee for modeling work. If you wish additional changes I might be able to make a change on request. For questions, rewards, remarks, feedback, you can contact me @ mjcbakker@hotmail.com. If you printed one of my products in one of the materials, please send me some photo's or learnings. Be careful with selecting a material.
