A few weeks ago we had clued you in that we would be updating our categories soon in this thread: http://www.shapeways.com/forum/index.php?t=msg&th=9120&a mp;start=0&. We received some great feedback from you. Thank you all very much.
TOMORROW we will be modifying the categories. The final list of categories are as follows:
6. Maker / DIY
- Spare Parts
- Mechanical Parts
- Tools
7. Games
- Board Games
- Dice
- Puzzles
- Toys
8. Art
- Mathematical Art
- Sculptures
If you had a model that was in a category that is no longer available, don't fret. We'll make sure it is associated with the most relevant category. Below is a list of the previous categories and the new category they are moving in to. Take a look at our migrations:

To make sure your models are still easily discovered on Shapeways, please be sure to edit your model and select an appropriate category. Remember, you can still tag your model with an appropriate seasonal tag!
