I am new to this new technology of modeling and 3d printing and hope that I will be able to do what I set out to achieve.

I am looking to produce (with the help of an expert) a watch part and hopefully it wont be too much hassle (or money) to get started. More details of my project to follow.

What kind of watch part? I've been contemplating making a watch (minus the movement, bought separately) for a while.
