I am not sure I understand correctly, but you uploaded the model as an STL with the &quot;mm&quot; unit selected for the first?<br />
<br />
And used a different scale for the second?<br />
<br />
If you use STL files for upload, the selection box decides what the native STL unit will be for real.<br />
<br />
So if you model is 25.4 units long and you select mm on upload it will be 25.4 mm = 2.54 cm = 1inch.<br />
<br />
Sometimes matters become more complicated when the used 3d software uses an own internal unit and converts things on save.<br />
<br />
Can you give some more info?<br />
<br />
Love your (power) Julia bulbs!<br />
Tried those myself, but never had much luck in generating affordable and printed pieces from it.<br />

De eenheden in een STL file zijn in principe dimensieloos.<br />
<br />
Vandaar dat de eenheid gekozen moet worden tijdens de upload.<br />
<br />
Afhankelijk van de software waarmee het gemaakt wordt kan de maat in de STL dus ook heel iets anders zijn.<br />

Ik heb bij het laden van een stl file slechts 3 mogelijkheden voor het kiezen van de dimensie: mm., inch en meter. Dat is 1 mm., 25 mm. of 1000 mm. Wat ik nu vraag is om een meer variabele schaal, zodat ik de grootte van het te printen product precies kan bepalen.<br />

Helaas is er op dit moment, via de upload procedure nog geen variabele schaling mogelijk.<br />
<br />
De enige optie is dus om het model op de juiste schaal te brengen voor het uploaden.<br />
<br />
Om problemen met afrondingsfouten te voorkomen is het bij kleine gedetailleerde modellen het handigst om de mm selectie aan te houden tijdens het uploaden.<br />
<br />
Met het gratis meshlab is schalen bijvoorbeeld mogelijk via &quot;normals, curvature, orientation&quot; -&gt; &quot;apply transform&quot;.<br />
<br />
Dan bovenaan &quot;scale&quot; selecteren. <br />
Onder de drie waarden rechts staat een vakje &quot;uniform&quot; als je die aanzet hoef je alleen de X-schaal in te vullen.<br />
<br />
Voor het eerste model zou de schaal factor dan 25.4/0.3 ~ 85 zijn.<br />
Rest nog een druk op de knop &quot;Apply&quot; en het model zou dan ongeveer op 25.4 mm uit moeten komen.<br />

But that is not yet possible on the site, so has to be done pre-upload.<br />

I recommended Meshlab for this.<br />
