Question about volume calc

After uploading some models today, I didn't think the price looked right. So I took a model I already had uploaded to my designs and uploaded it again under a different name. In the description the size measurements are the same but now its showing a 1.58cm3 where as before it was .33cm3 for the volume. Is the volume calculation broken now or was it broken before?

Hi,

Are the models that have different volume "hollowed out"?

Please check this blogpost which explains what the effects are of the improved volume calculation which we introduced this summer.

Possibly this volume calculation and the way it handles hollow areas is causing the unexpected change in volume?

If you think it is not caused by this effect, please let me know what model(s) you think show a problem, then we can take a look in detail.

Kind regards, Arno
