It was actually lot of fun to arrange everything on one shelf, even though the picture isn't as impressive to look at as the picture in my head lol. It was
a nice break to take from designing and gave me more ideas. I recommend it.



A little note:

I have only some of the smaller things purchased from other designers here. I was able to fit them into the picture by putting them on a wooden box
in the back corner of the shelf as shown in the picture.

Another little note:

This was a great excercise in display. I still have a lot to work on. Thanks to Jettuh, I am now thinking about ways to display my pieces and the
pieces I've bought from others in our living room on a proper display shelf.

Lots of tinkering -- about half of the scarab pendants aren't pictured, but you can see the difference between the first one, on the left, and the latest one out of the box today, second from right. It takes a lot of prints to get things just right.

Most of my dice collection and some of the rings.

The two rings in back are as they were received. The other two have had some antiquing. The closest one spent a night in "Patina-It" solution. Came out really rough feeling and the solution was totally black with a bunch of gunk in the bottom. On my side, I confess that I chose the Magic pseudo because initially my goal was to design the "Void Cube" that I saw hand-made on Internet ("Magic" stand for "Magic Cube"). I figured out how to do it, unfortunately, it was mass producted before I finished my own design (and so I bought one). Then, I saw what very talented community members are doing here with "Rubik's Cube-like" designs, and I decided to do.. something else
Along with my scoubidou I received my first prototype of a mechanical thingamajig. I hope I will be able to show it soon (one or two more prototypes, I guess)...

Ah ... those are actually two Tetra Tops I tossed in there to see if anyone was paying attention. They are not 3D printed objects, I think they're made from glued lucite balls or something. But everything else is 3D printed!

I dye all my own puzzles usually. I don't think there are any Shapeways dyed pieces in my photo.

The piece in the upper right is actually about 5 years old. I won it at a raffle at a math conference. It was the first 3D printed piece I ever owned. It was made by Wolfram, Inc, designed in Mathematica.

today I recieved some parts. The most models are from stonysmith Shop and I love these little Construction Vehicles. They are looking great and the details are fantastic! It really is possible to adjust the dump bucket

It was also the first time I ordered models in "Tranparent Detail" and I'm very happy with this decision

Almost forgot my largest 3d printed object. Standing 300mm tall, 280mm wide, and 230mm deep and made up of a considerable amount of ABS plastic, 2 ball bearings and a metal rod my spool.
