Hello shapewaypeople,

My first 3D print ever arrived today
A schoolproject, my teacher was like: 'you do everything with the computer please make something that I can hold' so I was like: 'okey' and had it printed
It is very cool and very addicting to be able to hold you own work in your hands. so thank you shapeways!

I also made a nice round plate of rosewood to go with the sculpture and cover up the hollow underside
specifics on the print:

140 mm high
wall-thickness of 1.5 mm (solid hands and fingers)
White, Strong and Flexible material.
Sculpted in Blender 3D

I use blender aswell but maily for finishing, never really understood how to sculpt from scratch.

And I didn't sculpt all the way from scratch, I first boxmodeled, sculpted both characters and rigged them seperatly. posed them togather, joined the mashes and did the final sculpting.
