Little confusion of measurements

Hi, someone made a pretty small 3D pentagon shape for me, and while its pretty much perfect, the measurements are making sense to me.

Each side on the pentagon has to be 1 3/4ths of an inch but when the shape is uploaded, the measurements are coming up much closer to 2 inches.

I can't get a hold of the guy right now and I was just wondering if anyone knew what the problem could be. I was told it was made using inches as the units but have tried all the other units available on the site and still no luck.

http://filebeam.com/872fd77a96274531cc28c65bb5d20999

There's a link to the file itself if that helps.

Thanks for any help guys.

It is most probably the bounding box size which is what Shapeways is showing.
Download your model. Get a copy of http://www.netfabb.com/basic.php it's free.
Just click on the icon that looks like a ruler. You can measure your model here.
If it is the wrong size just scale it in the axis you want.

Do a bit of math in Calculator
Divide 1.75 by 1.1 = 1.590909090909091 Copy this. (Or whatever the size is now)
In Netfabb.
Goto Part - Scale.
In Scale parts, untick equally
In 'X' and 'Y' paste answer
Hit Scale
Measure Part to check
You will now have to export this.
Goto - Part - Export part - as STL
Upload this new file.

That is assuming the model is flat with 'Z' up

Divide 1.75 the size you want by the exact side measurement it is now. 'Around' is not good enough to get the exact size you want.
Use the line - line measurement and pick the vertical edges.
If the model is not laying flat just rotate it to suit. So the flat face is up 'Z'
If you want you could send me the file by PM or my email address.
