I've just joined and am starting to learn 3D design!

Anyone got any tips on which 3D software to design on - I have Blender and Sketchup but not sure which one I should concentrate my learning on...

I have found that if I take Blender and give it to person A and Sketchup to person B, they will both dig in and learn how to use them.

Then, about six months later... introduce each person to the other package.
