This design features layers of tiered stainless steel that mimic the topography of a quarry. A while back I became obsessed with craters, deep holes in the earth, and caverns; particularly the caverns of Mount Roraima. There is something unexplainably beautiful about seeing the earth bent in such drastic ways by geological and astronomical forces.
