Wanted to see if it actually worked the way I had imagined and... it actually came out alright! The material thickness limitations make it quite large in scale but the concept works. I might need to make the parts fit together a little more tightly as they tend to wear down a little with use. My kids had fun playing with these blocks since they are really easy to assemble into a little space ship or a gun or letters. I just wish I had more to build a castle with... but it's just a little too expensive still

I could be wrong, but I suspect that Origami13's orientation problems are not to do with the text but stepping on the petals.

Ok... it arrived a little while ago already whilst I was working on the Blender for 3D Printing DVD. But I wanted to wait with posting about it until I made the figurine available to the public. That's now! I'm really excited about the model... the end result turned out great! On the DVD I explain how I took the file from the short film and turned it into something printable.
