Hi - I'm new to this, so please excuse the stupid question! I've searched around and not found a complete answer so here goes....
Currently I am designing small (appx 3x2x1 cm) models in Sketch-up, exporting DAE files and uploading them. They have been accepted and have gone to print (none back yet). They look right in the preview and look right on my system.
In the 3D Viewer, however some parts are missing or floating in space. I notice that this occurs where I had crossed into "negative x" space in Sketchup. I assume this is the situation known as mixed normals?
I am presuming that all is ok - but that the viewer is just having trouble displaying things. I am going to try to design in "positive space" from now on - however I assume this is detected and normalized when the files are uploaded.
Thanks for the advice!!!!
- Lou
