I'm an avid model caster and am looking to do some vehicles not available in 1:32 scale for slot car bodies. I have used a NextEngine 3D scanner and Rapid Prototyping, but am very slow at it. I am looking for someone to either develop the 3D for the car or to scan a 1:24 model body that exists - rescale it to 1:32 ( I'd provide the correct dimensions) and then have it printed.

If interested, please contact me for further information.

Thanks!

Hey guys,

I'm looking for an experienced 3D modeler, and someone with examples of 3d printed work, to build the attached file. I'd like to have it printed in plastic and even though i'm a competent 3D modeler I have no experience building a model for 3D printing.

If you're interested please reply with your hourly rate and how long you think it will take to model.

Please link to your portfolio and links to exampled of your printed work.

Thanks guys.

Hi! We're a small creative studio developing a cool project. We need a helper to take hand-made ceramic maquettes, and turn them into high quality 3D prints. We supply the art, you help develop a process. Help us with testing to find the best way to get efficiency and quality in scanning, modeling, and printing. After that, we may ask for ongoing help to manage the process. The more skill you apply, the more opportunity it can bring.

Our maquettes are created by a pro ceramic artist. Here's a quick rough video with samples: http://youtu.be/iDiNsWMOGzo Getting 3D models could use a method like laser scanning and cleanup, or we have 360-degree photo sequences shot on a turntable that can go to a 3D modeler. Once 3D models are ready, they could go to a site like Shapeways. It might depend on how well the models translate into prints, the material quality, and whether there are alternative ways to print with local companies.

If you do modeling, that would be cool. Even if you don't, you could work with a contract modeler, and help set up a Shapeways account or manage a web store as an ongoing role. Please get in touch and tell us about your skills, and we'll tell you more about the project.

You can contact me directly at: patsatwork (at) gmail (dot) com

Attached are two figures I need modeled. Probably to be made in Frosted Ultra Detail.

Regarding the seaman, instead of holding a pipe, make the right arm extended as if he is holding a whip. I will make the whip so the hand has to be just cupped so I can insert the whip.

The scale is 1/60, so the figures should be about - the seaman - 1 1/8" ; and the captain - about 1 1/4"

Please indicate costs and time.

I have purchased a 3D file from turbosquid of a skull and would like some one to convert it to STL, scale it down to about 15mm on a side, add a vertical center hole, and make some additional adjustments (optimize) to make it ready for 3-D printing using Kraftwurx. Kraftwurx has the finished material required.

PM me if you have experience doing the above.

We are a New York-based start-up with a great deal of work lined up over the next year. We need a New York-based CAD designer of the highest caliber. There is a wide variety of work, in the areas of product design, architecture, engineering and art. We aim to test the very possibilities of these areas using the most advanced 3D printing technology. We're pre-launch at the moment, so website, name, etc. is under-wraps unfortunately. We'll fill you in once after you apply.

If you
-have a B.A. or B.Sci or higher (preference for anything related to Art, Design, Engineering or Architecture.)
AND/OR
-have at least 5 years of experience drafting in CAD in the fields of Art, Design, Engineering or Architecture.

Your job is to
-take ideas and concept drawings created by the entire project team (which includes you) and create useable CAD files that will be 3D printed
-provide input into every step of the project, from concept to manufacturing to even marketing. You're going to be a part of a small team Smile

CAD Skills
-Maya, ZBrush, Solidworks, Rhino or AutoCAD
-experience with generative CAD (like Grasshopper) an asset

Important assets
-experience in the creative fields
-sales and marketing experience
-independent thinker and an independent worker

Compensation
TBD

To apply, send us
-a paragraph about yourself
-a link to your portfolio (or a file)

We look forward to talking to you soon!

Cheers
Voronoi

I'm looking for someone to help me, I want to make a small object Link for my wife's birthday on June 7th. Its from a game called Little Angry Pig, it is an android app found at amazon.com. We play the game a lot and I think it would be nice to give her one of these, sadly no one makes them. I have no ability to make something like this. When I think of the size of something like this, I see one of those old Pokemon toys that were sold everywhere back in the day, for around 5ish bucks. Link If anyone can help me with this I would be very thankful, time is limited, my wife's birthday is next month on the 7th. D: If you need more info I will gladly supply it, I am thinking of using colored sandstone, I've never had anything made before so I don't really know much about the options =\ But I was hoping her name could be across the back side ( Amber ).

Just want to mention that I had contact with Shry over a drawing that he would make for me. In his topics he mentions $ 20,= as a price for the work. In the end he wanted me to pay $ 259,99 because I would make so much money for my project. In his opinion it would be a reasonable price because of that.

The only thing I need is a drawing of an extraction which is only suitable in my house so I really do not understand how I could make money with it.

Regards,
Dylan

index.php?t=getfile&id=32342&private=0greetings!

I would like to convert my Mongoose to disc brake, with an adapter similar to this one..
http://www.shapeways.com/model/592479/disc-brake-adapter-for -fisher-level-betty-se.html?li=productBox-search

I'll somehow have to take exact measurements of my frame, or possibly find some company who can laserscan it.
The distances from centre the axel to the two I.S. mounting points are standards.

Anyone interested in designing as long as i can provide the perfect dimensions of my frame..?

Tom

Hello everybody!

I need a exact copy of my key made. I can even send the key to you if it helps make it a better 3D model.

I've attached some photos to the type of key it is but its not the actual key. The key is the same brand and same model. Just want to figure out if its possible. Thanks

I'm constructing a tabletop ship combat game and want to print some prototype figures for playing with. What I need is a prototype model of this, preferably 2 inches long. Skimp on details if need be.

If anyone could provide me with the model I'd be greatly appreciative and there may be more work in the future depending.

Thanks for your time,

Hello modellers,

I am looking for a Game Boy Advance case model, which I guess would include a top half and bottom half, and all of the plastic buttons. I want to then blow it up to be able to house a 4.3" screen and a Raspberry Pi and battery. Is this possible?

Thanks!

Hello,

I recently just had a 3d design done, but I feel the design is incorrect as it's very expensive to create. I see similar designs that aren't much cheaper... I need to have someone look at the design for me to confirm if it can be fixed to be cheaper to print... I like to work with someone face to face, as I am in the NYC area. It would be easier to communicate...

Thanks
