Hi there, I'm looking for someone who is able to take all the little details seen in the textures of a model, and apply them to model itself, so it becomes a high detail model (ideal for 3d printing)

For example, here is the basic model: http://i.imgur.com/8TZ5Z11.png As you can see it's pretty simple.

This is the model with textures applied: http://i.imgur.com/cX6el1S.png

I want all the little grooves, raised surfaces, edges, details etc seen in the textures, such as here: http://i.imgur.com/5gdQZBa.png put onto the actual model, so it can be printed with all those details. (Not the paint/scuff marks though, those can just be painted on later)

In other words, I'd like the final model to look like this: http://i.imgur.com/ocXUX3U.png this: http://i.imgur.com/cX6el1S.png this: http://i.imgur.com/QRnFi.jpg or this: http://www.entertainmentearth.com/images/AUTOIMAGES/MF19311lg.jpg

The original shape of the model still has to stay the same though, just add the detail to it. I also have a few weapon models that would need similar treatment.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I am looking for a designer to make me tenplates of some Movie ID Cards and some Novelty Driving Licenses.

Things like Austin Powers, James Bond, Batman etc.

Please PM me here or email me at custom_crafting@yahoo.co.uk for more details.

Hello. Like anyone else in this part of the forums, I'm looking for a designer for a little project.

First think worth noting to anyone reading and interested, is that THERE IS a market for this idea. Transformers collectors abroad would love to get their hands on conversion kits that would result from this project. So if you're worried about money, there's some to be had here. I'm just hoping someone can make these so I can get a set of my own as a collector. Now, on to the project!

MATERIALS: I'm thinking any kind of plastic. Strong & Flexible seems to be the go-to material for other TF stuff on here, but I'd like all plastics and colors be available if possible. However, designers' experience in these matters is appreciated.

The short version:

I'm looking for someone who can take a look at these...

http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/3rd-party-unlicense d-41/fansproject-ca-04-ca-05-not-insecticons-pre-order-up-an d-new-images-172468/

http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/attach/1/20110523_06_1308066058.jpg

http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/attach/1/20110523_08_1308066058.jpg

...and make a conversion kit that will turn them into these...

http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transformers-3rd-party-discuss ion/859511-fansproject-war-bugs.html

http://img845.imageshack.us/img845/9888/90135810151321509827484.jpg

More images and information on these can be found by searching for phrases like "Transformers FansProject Insecticons Warbugs". Also, more on FansProject can be found here...

http://www.wikialpha.org/wiki/FansProject

...and here...

https://www.facebook.com/pages/FansProject/108855295818799

The long version:

The first link is for a third party Transformers Insecticons product, produced by FansProject. Third party stuff caters to collectors with a little more money to spend on more highly detailed items. The second link is for a variant of these called "Warbugs", first hinted at in 2011-2012. As of 2015, the word around the internet is that these are no longer going to be produced and released, as FansProject are no longer interested in the Insecticons.

If one looks closely, the same basic mold is used for the main body, but several of the extremity pieces (which are easily detachable) are swapped out, changing their transformation altmodes from insectoid to cool looking vehicles. I am willing to supply as much reference material as needed that I can, such as pictures, measurements, scale reference (specifically, detailed images of the connecting pieces and how they work in order to make the conversion kit(s) fit right, and exact measurements so that these kits are scaled as near perfectly as possible).

If you are worried about discretion, we can work something out in private for the designs. If you don't care about discretion and are looking to make a buck, you don't need me for that. These kind of kits will make money on their own once Transformers collectors find out about them. One would simply need to post in the popular Transformers forums about such kits to pique curiosity and desire, and the rest will handle itself. Fans and collectors had mixed feelings about the third party Insecticons at first, but they highly desired the Warbugs variants, and people are feeling the loss that these will never be made.

I personally simply want to see these become available and make a purchase for my own collection, being that I'm a collector as well.

If anyone is interested in getting the FansProject Insecticons for this project, they can be found on eBay easily enough. Even if they are KOs (knock offs), those would serve well enough to make these conversion kits.

PLEASE NOTE: If anyone is interested in this project, I WILL NOT send my own collected figures to you. This may be the "make or break" for anyone interested in this. But let's be real here: I don't know you, you don't know me, I'd be practically asking to never get them back, and I'm not in the market to prove myself the fool. This reason is why I'm willing to supply anything else needed, such as detailed pictures and proper measurements. I've worked with a few shapies in the past via emails and messages on here, and some of these have worked out well with simple pics and measurements, with a good detailed product as a result. So I know better.

Hello! I am interested in creating fully custom transforming toys, but lack the resources and money, to buy/waste material in troubleshooting. I am looking to collaborate my ideas with a sufficiently talented 3D modeler.

At the moment I have about four or five good ideas, two of which are more or less perfected, sans the minor details. All of my designs are mostly mass shifting, with little to no 'fake parts'. If anyone is interested please let me know on the forums, or by personal email: Androidanchovy@gmail.com

Calling all Makers!

Be part of the first annual NJ Makers Day – a statewide celebration of Maker and DiY culture. The Morris Museum will be one of the 130+ host sites around New Jersey where Makers can demonstrate what interesting and innovative objects they make and how they make them. Show them, share them, talk about them! Makers make everything, from high-tech, to lo-tech, to no-tech. Robotics to traditional craft. Practical to whimsical. Prototype to finished product.

What the Morris Museum would provide would be a table for your set up, marketing and sponsorship of your products and brand.

If you are a Maker, send your information and proposal to kmeehan@morrismuseum.org. Selections will be finalized and notification of participation will be given March 13.

Hi,
We are looking for a very talented 3D Printing finisher who specialises in WSF and FUD models. We have a very large commission that requires expert help. Due to the location of the project I am only interested in European based people, ideally in Ireland, England (or UK) or Poland. This is a large commission requiring at least 5 weeks solid work so please get in touch via email (Adam@inner-leaf.com) with examples of your work (in both FUD and WSF) and cost estimates of your day rates. All works will requires the signing of an NDA with our company.

Project
We are building a block of models in a mixture of FUD (top) and WSF (bottom) that will fit together. Models range in size from 2.5m to 0.3m long. More info once NDA has been signed and suitable examples have been reviewed.

Hope to hear from you all soon

P.s If you are from another country inside Europe and have the skills we need then please feel free to get in touch, please note that a site visit by us and our client would be part of the commission to sign off the models prior to postage so please ensure you have the facilities to present the models once they are complete.

Thanks

Please help! hit me up if your interested.

Hello creative minds :)

My name is Oskar and I am looking for someone like You to help out in the making of Brilliant Ultrasound.
The url to our website: http://www.brilliantultrasound.com.
The reason why I am looking for help is due to an increasing amount of work and a wish of working together with men or women who has even more experience than us.

We are currently working in Rhino 5 and the process of making our jewelry is fairly simple and completed in a few steps.
To use Rhino is not a requirement. However, you will be asked to complete a task to evaluate end result. The project will have to be saved in an .stl and checked for bugs and repair. If you have experience working with jewelry towards Shapeways, its a plus since we would like to give it a shot.

I am hoping to start making a bunch of different cases for Zano. They will be releasing the CAD files some time in the near future and I am going to be buying a multicolor 3D printer.

I was hoping a flat rate+commission payment method could interest someone. $5 per print for anything uncommissioned. For commissioned work I would send them your email and you would take payment direct for the commissioned portion+$5 for the print from me. Please let me know if you are interested and an estimate of what your costs would be to for example make a cat faced zano.

I hope to make a deal with 1 or 2 artists only.

Hello,

I am a collector of transformers but curently the scale is bugging me
What I would LOVE is to have them in the proper scale to display.
So what I was thinking about is using the Deluxe scale transformers, get them apart and scan them to scale them down.
What I am looking for is Bumblebee, Sideswipe, Mudflap, Skids, maybe barricade and so on in a scale roughly 1/43

I would not mind if they need to be repainted since I love doing that anyways. Transformable would still be preferable but getting them as a modelkit is not an issue, I must say that I even prefer that option. And if it is printed in one single colour (white or so) would not matter since it will get painted,
I just want them scaled down with the details intact.

Is there anyone who can help me realise my dream?
Or can help point me in the right direction.
I am from Holland so if anyone needs the models to scan etc, I can provide the models if it is in the area for shipping costsetc.

Kind regards and thank you for reading.

Erwin

Greetings

I am after someone to make a 3d model of a clay dragon I made, I need to be able to 3d print it with all the colour options (so full original colours and in the future maybe new colour schemes) I would also need all the original model files once/if the job is done.

Here is a link to the dragon: http://kirstenberrycrafts.deviantart.com/art/Book-Dragon-502 934468

What I am after is quotes. Please do not inbox me asking to check out your portfolio's, if you can recreate the dragon in perfect detail then I am interested...if the price is right obviously. Should this little project work out how I imagine it to there will be plenty more work available.

It's current size is, at a rough guess having not measured it yet, about 60mm high.

Thank you for taking the time to read this =)

Nick

PS. You can PM me your quotes rather than replying to the topic if you wish. Prices in GBP would also be nice =)

I am working with a 3D artist long distance on some projects. It is difficult to show him what I want without some visual examples. So far, I have been doing renderings in PhotoShop but it is limited in conveying what I want him to do. So it's clear I need to learn some basics in Sculptris so I can rough out in a 3D program what I am looking for so he can understand it and take it to finish. I live in Hollywood, CA and am right off the 101 freeway off the Gower street exit. I would like to hire someone to come to my apartment to get me versed enough in using the program. Please let me know what you would charge me. thanks!

We are want to develop Web & Mobile App for designing Name Jewelry which is user friendly and feature rich applications for desktop, modern mobile devices, across platform such as, Android, I-Phone, Blackberry, and Windows operating system.

This App should be able to create design by interlocking letters of buyers name after in input them from selected font styles and can further add clip art to enhance the design, he should be able to select font, clipart, metal, stone, colour, dimensions, chain design, chain length and more. Once design is created he should see the preview live online, if editing is required he should be able to do and can confirm the order by making payment online, he should get the confirmation and we should get the payment confirmation, order, and design artwork created by buyer in required format. The designer tool app will be used to create name interlocking for Rings, Necklace, pendant, Bracelets, Key Chains, Cufflinks and more.

Hey guys, this is my first post on here and I need some assistance regarding a certain film project of mine. Its an Assassin's Creed fan film im working on however I have ran into a little snag that requires a certain piece in my prop building to be shaped. I can't figure it out but if anybody is interested in doing the model and posting it on here for sale to be printed so I can buy it that would be a great help. PM me for specific details and I will get back with you guys in the morning.

What I am looking for is someone who knows how to produce them on a small scale.
If that is to expensive than just 2 is ok. I am new to this so I hope someone can help.
Ive made drawings that I can mail if you are interested.
My email is: vanrijtm@gmail.com
I hope to hear from someone!

Looking for someone who loves zombies, loves new and innovative ideas, and someone great with moving parts. Either a set pay or a percentage of the idea. World's first of it's kind..I'd prefer a percentage of the idea and someone to really take it to heart..but can go either way...

Hi there I'm wondering if one can 3d scan an object using 123d catch. Then clean it up, add more texture and modify or combined it with another scanned object?

Hello to everyone viewing this post. We need a 3D modeler to help us create characters for a Walking Dead Fan-Fic. Since it is a fan fic, we are not quite sure if we will offer pay yet. We have everything else ready for this series as Voice Actors, an animator and advertising. All we need is a modeler to help us do this. Our chat is http://us21.chatzy.com/57832901731714.

Will want to print this howling wolf head 2 in x 2in by around 3/8 in. deep flat on the back. It will glue on items I sell. I can do mechanical shit but not this sort of thing. Not just a stencil a bit of relief to it would be nice.
